The Smith family wanted to document their slow Sunday morning rituals in their golden Ojai backyard. We focused on the quiet, unscripted beauty of breakfast and messy play in the sun.

We leaned into the natural, golden light of the California coast to create a series of portraits that feel like a warm memory rather than a pose.
